Wellness Coaching Initial Evaluation 55 minutes
Follow-up session 55 minutes

Initial evaluation will include instructions for a wellness assessment, analyze your lifestyle, your exercise and medical history, diet and nutritional concerns and specific goals and objectives. The wellness assessment review is based on information provided and devises a customized program unique to you. This includes visioning and planning, weight loss programs, cardiovascular health, flexibility training, exercise for home or travel, stress management techniques, nutrition and overall wellness.

Follow-up appointments are scheduled on a regular basis to suit your needs and accomplish your goals. Sessions include: review of goals, celebrating accomplishments and gains, building self esteem and motivation, behavior modifications, stress management, weight loss or individualized personal training, addressing any challenges, adjusting for challenges, manual treatments and/or other modality treatments, develop new realistic goals and more, depending on you.

Weight Loss Program Initial Evaluation 55 Minutes
Follow-up Sessions 15-20 Minutes 1 Time Per Week

Initial Evaluation will be an over view of the program, analyzes your lifestyle, your exercise and medical history, diet and nutritional concerns and specific goals and objectives. This includes body mass index reading, weight check, blood pressure reading and body composition measurements.

Follow-up appointments are scheduled 1 time per week for 15-20 minutes. This time is to check-in and ask any questions you have, celebrate accomplishments and gains, address any challenges, adjust challenges, review what you learned for the week, blood pressure reading, weekly measurements, weight check, and your new body composition reading.

IMT is a collection of different manual therapy techniques that use non-aggressive treatment to rid the body of soft tissue dysfunction. It helps to create balance in the body by releasing areas of restriction. Techniques include myofascial release and strain/counter strain. IMT techniques work on an indirect principle, meaning that we don’t force the body into position, rather we try to find the cause of the problem and facilitate the body’s own natural ability to correct itself. IMT was developed by Dr. Sharon Weiselfish-Giammatteo after she spent years studying with some of the leaders in manual physical therapy. IMT helps with pain relief, improving tissue repair, reducing inflammation of joints and soft tissue, improving range of motion throughout neck, shoulders, back, and legs, improving function and more.

What is Strain/Counter Strain (SCS)? Strain counter strain is a technique that actually involves shortening of a muscle, allowing it to reset itself and relax spasms. When a muscle is in spasm it is constantly receiving an impulse from the central nervous system (CNS) to remain in spasm. When it is shortened, the muscle has an opportunity to have a break from the constant impulse and it can let go.
