Success Story
"Upon returning home late one afternoon after shingling my daughters small storage shed, which I did mostly from a ladder. I showered and retired to my recliner to catch up on the daily news. After watching the news for about an hour, I decided to order a pizza for supper. Much to my surprise I got up to use the phone and found I could hardly stand on my left foot.
I thought this was something that would go away in a few minutes, but it did not. I got up the next morning and still could not walk on my left foot.
I got an appointment that evening with my family doctor and he told me that I had a Plantar fascitis (a problem with tendons in the bottom of your foot). He suggested physical therapy at Innovative Therapy in Topsham. I was lucky to get an appointment the next day.
I was greeted by Doreen who was very friendly, who by the way is the owner. After talking with her for a few minutes, I could see she was very knowledgeable of my problem.
She then introduced me to Kurt who would be my therapist. Kurt was very familiar with my problem, and gave me a lot of confidence he could help me. He gave me a treatment that day, and continued to treatments twice a week for six weeks.
I was very impressed that Kurt could examine my foot each visit and know what progress had been made, and what more needed to be done. He gave me several exercises to do between visits and there was immediate relief.
It has been six months since my last treatment, and I will ever be grateful for Innovative Therapy, and especially Kurt for his confidence and determination to make my foot feel normal gain. Thank you all.
