| Ear Candling |
Ear candling is a centuries old technique used as a soothing and relaxing treatment for the ear. A cylinder is gently placed in the ear and lit on the opposite end to create a slow vacuum. With no discomfort, toxins are removed; helping to relieve pressure, wax build-up and inner ear blockage. |

Core Strengthening |
Your body “Core” --the area around your trunk and pelvis, is where your center of gravity is located. When you have good core stability, the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen provide a solid foundation for all body movement. They provide support to your spine for almost all activities. Core strengthening is about working your muscles from the inside out. Strong core muscles keep you protected from injuries that induce low back pain. |
| Paraffin Hand Dip |
Warm paraffin is one of the most effective ways of applying heat to reduce swelling in muscles, decrease inflammation of the joints and connective tissues, soothe pain from arthritis and improve circulations. Enjoy the warmth of soft melted wax coating your hands and then wrapped in luxurious terry mitt. |
|
Balance/Coordination Training |
Balance is the ability to maintain the body in equilibrium with gravity both statically (stationery) and dynamically (walking). These deficits can be caused by trauma, disease, stoke or other impairments. |
| Soothing Stone Massage |
Stone massage is a relaxing and enchanting form of massage utilizing smooth heated river stones and nourishing, blended oils for a truly relaxing experience and the ultimate in bodywork. |
|
Strain/Counter Strain |
Through body positioning to shorten a hyper-tonistic muscle we eliminate the muscle spasm. This allows for elongation of the muscle fibers to their normal resting length diminishing the pathological tension of the muscle on the bone resulting in normalization of joint biomechanics. |
Deep Tissue Massage |
Multiple therapeutic techniques, delivering a customized massage to balance mind and body. Deep tissue work releases chronic patterns of muscular tension using direct pressure, or friction directed across the grain of the muscle employing fingers, thumbs or elbows. It is applied with great pressure to deeper layers of muscle. Deep myofascial, deep tissue releases and stretching techniques allow muscles to unwind and relieve chronic muscle tension. |
|
Myofascial release |
Fascia is the interwoven connective tissue that surrounds our muscles and internal organs. Fascia shrinks when it is inflamed and is slow to heal because of poor blood supply. It is painful when inflamed because of its rich nerve supply. Myofascial restrictions occur when the fascia is disrupted or stretched by any injury, no matter how minor. Myofascial release is a technique that allows the fascia to reorganize itself to a healthier form. This removes restrictions that impede efficient movement and use of energy for daily tasks. |
Swedish Massage |
A classic European massage which uses long gliding, kneading strokes and friction techniques on the more superficial layers of the muscles, by directing the blood flow towards the heart. Swedish treatment promotes general relaxation, improved circulation and movement, and to relieve muscle tension. |
|
Muscle Energy |
A manipulative treatment procedure that uses voluntary contraction of the client’s muscles against a distinctly controlled counter force. This contraction is performed from a precise position and in a specific direction allowing increased movement in hypomobile joints, reduction of edema, and increased strength in weaker muscles due to correcting the length of shortened muscle and improving joint biomechanics |
Pregnancy Massage |
Massage, especially for the Mom-to-be, focusing on the discomfort and pain accompanying the joy of pregnancy. You are gently supported with comfy body pillows, bolsters, and a heated table. |

Sports Massage |
Prepare for serious kneading; deep targeted movements to really work sore spots and tight muscle groups. This deep massage can increase strength, flexibility, range of motion, and endurance. |
